I won 2 giveaways during OWOH and this is the second one. This one from my kindred spirit Pattie at The Joy of Nesting was chock full of amazing and wonderful goodies! She lives in Mexico and her postal situation can get dicey so she waits until someone can be a "mule" for her and take her parcels to the states for mailing. Believe me it was well worth the wait!!

There is absolutely just something so delicious about receiving parcels in the mail isn't there! The door bell rings and the post person has left a large parcel or a padded envelope or a small box. All taped up, carefully packed and addressed..... it's like Christmas morning to bring it inside and anticipate the contents.
The same can be said for putting together a parcel for someone else and having THEM feel that sense of anticipation. I used to be so much better at that and for some reason I became a procrastinator........abeit a well intentioned procrastinator. The thing about parcels is when you get them for absolutely no reason........not a birthday or Christmas or for a swap or a giveaway(which are all wonderful reasons too) but simply just because. Those are the kind I like to send out..........or would if I didn't stall, procrastinate and merely talk to myself about intention. (I AM working on that)
A person can be having a stressful day or week or just a down time or stuck in artists block or just going about their life....all sorts of things can be going on but let a parcel arrive and it's like sunshine just greeted them at the door. Don't you think?
