Since most of my time is spent in the studio right now I thought I'd share a preview of some of what I've been working on........."The Women: A Series". I chose not to use any complicated backgrounds or even a plain color background (for now) so that the women themselves stand out. There are still more in my head, various women that will be dressed for parties or dances or tea or enjoying a spring day or whatever moves me. ("The Empress" I showed in my previous post is part of this series as well)
Today is the first day of Spring but unfortunately the weather doesn't seem to realize it. The skies are that old sweatshirt gray and rain is in the forecast. I had hoped to awaken to a brilliant blue sky ripe for shadow dancing but it wasn't to be today. So I'll snuggle inside the studio and continue on......

May I say I realize I've been bad about blog commenting and I do hope I don't become persona non grata because of it..............I love and adore all of you so it's surely nothing personal. I appreciate more than you know the fact any of you take the time to stop in even when I've been absent from YOUR doorstep. Soon I'll come knocking again.....maybe I'll even bring a dessert.
Oh and soon I'll tell you about a childhood dream of mine that just may be coming true in the very near future....actually THAT and some thing else that's long over due. Are you curious?
