I am the white White Rabbit best known for running here and there, always in a hurry .....but I have another side to me. I love to nap when I can. So the other day I was finally able to stop for a nap when suddenly someone came up and arrested me! I am a good Rabbit and I was scared and shocked as I had to raise my paws.
So suddenly I find myself being taken to jail. In a way I wasn't that worried about the matter as I knew I didn't do anything wrong. The worrisome party was that I have a party to go and I cannot be late.
While in jail I asked a guard who was wearing the most peculiar striped jumpsuit just why I was arrested. At first the guard just grinned....I told him the only thing I've ever been guilty of was being late. He kept grinning and I swear I'd seen that grin someplace before.
He finally pulled out a piece of paper and unfolded it and said I was arrested for stealing the "10 carrot" ring pictured in the phhoto.........even though there was NO evidence to say I did it. He said there had been an informant. What?
"Look me in the eyes" I told him...."I stole NOTHING!!!! The only thing I am guilty of is always being LATE I told you......and if you keep me here I am REALLY going to be late for the party on Saturday!! I've never even seen that ring before. PLEASE help me get out of here"
"Listen", the guard told me with that same wide tooth grin (I tell you he looked really familiar) "I will let you out to the exercise yard and there you will find your watch. Just watch it for 3 minutes and you will be out of here when the time is up" There was a twinkle in his grin while he spoke and I was so grateful he chose to help me escape.
I did as I was told, trying to look nonchalant....I even turned it over while I waited to admire myself in its reflection. It seemed like it was taking forever......BUT THEN I heard this loud laugh and poof
Just as the guard said I was transported out of jail amid magic sparks and sputtering sounds. I hopped around feeling so free at last. I checked the time on my watch
and checked the invitation again too:
SATURDAY? OH NO!!! But I am not ready............
Am I supposed to bring something?
Should I make tea?
OH MY OH DEAR
OH DEAR OH MY
I don't know what I will do
Then I thought maybe I should consult someone for help or ideas because I just know everyone is going to have spectacular things set up and I am NOT ready..........I know I keep repeating myself but I'm known for that too.
I will barely have time to say hello...goodbye.....cause I'll be late.
Then I thought AH HA....I'll ask the Mad Hatter himself............
Uhhh, or maybe not....he looks a bit busy having his tea and all..........yikes!
As I was trying to think I heard horns and a grand promenade went by as the Red Queen was being escorted to her croquet field. I hid and watched and something caught my eye. OH NO, OMG.....she is wearing the "10 carrot" ring I was accused of stealing. She must have reported it was me so she could keep it for herself.................if she sees me out of jail it will be "OFF WITH MY HEAD" for certain!!!
What shall I do?????
OK, here's the thing...............You haven't seen me...........you never heard of me..........there was no White Rabbit around here and last you heard I was in jail. Help me with a disguise until I can get back to the forest.......
Remember..............NO WHITE RABBIT has been seen!

and with that the White Rabbit ran off to the forest in disguise with high hopes he'd be able to still attend the party without the Queen ever seeing him.
Will he make an appearance at the party? Will you recognize him?
Will he have things ready in time?
