The seeds have been planted by the sprinkling of blogs across a great meadow...it is up to all of us to nurure these new growths. Don't stop when OWOH ends, don't just ride the Magic Carpet to stop in and to win something and never return again. Mark those blogs/people that speak to you...make your heart race.....inspire you...make you laugh...make you think....make you realize how much you have in common. Imagine creating a dialog with someone in another country now and then........imagine swapping art works and recipes and knitting patterns and photo hints and cultural history and more. Imagine commenting back and forth with somone who, surprisingly, lives not far from you and eventually meeting in person.
Don't let this once a year event take you around the globe, around your country, around your state and then stop until the next time it rolls aorund. The very idea is to use this event as a conduit to meeting those you would never have had the chance to meet otherwise and plant new seeds.
Nurture these new found relationships and watch them grow.
And realize too, even though I created and host this event I am also a blogger just like all of you who participated and am finding those that spark me as I make my way, albeit slowly, through the long list. And I hope when this all ends next week you'll still stop by here now and then and say hello.
