First things first...............the winner of the Diva wallhanging is..........Caroline of Caro's Lines. Please email me with your mailing address so she can wing her way to the UK! Congrats! Thank you all who stopped by with all your lovely comments as well as compliments about The Muse and her Joy ride, I appreciate them more than you know!
Sunday G and I went for a little ride to the coast. Unfortunately it was pretty overcast and cool which made my plans for a specific photo shoot I had in mind unable to work. We are going to try again soon. We did have a lovely lunch and a stroll on Main Street in Half Moon Bay as well as a couple of thrift store stops.(it didn't garner the treasures I had hoped to stumble upon) Afterwards we took a road we hadn't taken before that wound us up and around the mountains. Much of it was like country roads where little ranches were tucked away with sheep and goats and horses. It was a lovely ride and the higher we went the more you could look back and see the ocean.
This group had obviously been recently sheared. This one looks like it's calling to the group "Look out, here comes the paparazzi!"
A look down part of the road we traveled, and as we got to the end where it curved this was in front of the house located there, I'm not quite sure what it represents. They were herding goats with a border collie as some people watched from chairs, I was going to take a photo but some woman and her dogs were watching our every move. I decided with that big statue I'd just snap that and we'd move on, Ha!
G caught sight of this guy on his side of the road. I scrambled to get my camera out and get a picture before it went up the hill. It came out a tad blurry but the colors were gorgeous and ever so vibrant. I wish he had opened up his tail feathers to show off.
As we got to the top this is the view looking out to the ocean, you can see how overcast it was, Regardless it's still calming to me just to know it's there. (the ocean that is)
G being silly. We were in an antique store that had a table with non-antique silly stuff..........I love that he's willing to play, even in the middle of a store.
This is a sneak peek of what art I am working on.........I obscured the pics a bit. Who will she be? WHAT will she be? And most importantly will she be what I envision? Once I start an art doll they sort of guide me as to what they want to become, BUT sometimes when I don't see eye to eye with them they end up spending their days on the "maybe I'll get back to you some other time" shelf. We'll see where she ends up. My head is spinning with ideas in all sorts of directions that I need 8 other arms to do all the things I want to get done.
I hope everyone is having a good start to their week!
XOXO

p.s. I am LOVING this move to Typepad but I'm frustrated with one thing........I wish photos uploaded to a post could be designated to appear centered. I'm still getting used to trying to manually move each one over. Any hints?
