UPDATE - FRIDAY 7/18 : ALTHOUGH MY BLOGIVERSARY IS TODAY THE POST WILL NOT BE READY UNTIL MUCH LATER THIS AFTERNOON. THE SURPRISE I HAD PLANNED FOR THE GIVEAWAY HAS CHANGED DIRECTION. MY MUSE FLEW IN THE WINDOW AND LIGHTED ON MY HEAD MAKING ME GO DOWN ANOTHER PATH THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS. What are these pictures supposed to be, you ask? I mean you can tell it has something to do with sewing I suppose. But the thing is..........it's a secret!!! That's not the answer you were looking for was it? It's meant to be sort of a hint really. The thing is if I tell you NOW it won't be a surprise on Friday. What's Friday you ask? Another good question. Friday just happens to be my 2 YEAR blogiversary! Two years, wow it's gone by fast and so much has happened in my life during this time not to mention meeting THE most amazing people through blogging. It makes my head spin. I decided I would make something and do a giveaway!! I haven't done a giveaway since ONE World-ONE Heart back in February and what better time to do one than on Friday? So I'm busy working on it and crossing my fingers it will be complete by Friday.......there may even be more than one but the GRAND PRIZE will be what I'm in the middle of. Do I have your curiosity peeked? I hope so because I am hoping you'll come back on Friday and see what it's all about. All will be revealed!
I want to thank all of you who have come to my new blog and who left so many sweet and wonderful comments about the look and feel of this new home. It means so much to me that you take the time from your day at any time to stop in and say hello. I am making a concerted effort to get back to visiting all of you regularly - I mean it's through that where the connections are made. I'll save the rest of my sentimentality for Friday! Oh and yesterday I finally got in to get my hair sorted out......you see I get these little white things that pop up on my temples and I just hate it. I had old highlights in it too that were showing how much they'd grown out and the whole mess was just dragging me down. So she(the stylist) just did all over color on me, no highlights at all. My regular brown. BUT funny thing is that I have so much natural red in my hair that it looks highlighted anyway when I am in the sun and I like it. So G took a picture of me from the back so I could see it better (hand mirrors don't cut it for seeing the back) ......... I don't know why, but I thought I'd show you too. Funny the things we put on our blogs. I am happy my hair is getting so long - I always envisioned that I'd one day be an old woman with a long braid down the back. I think it's that artist thing, standing among the art supplies in my 80's.....wearing comfy linen clothes, barefoot.....still creating, still a whimsical bohemian. I so hope so!
