Well I was finally able to get out from under Clarissa's spell, it
wasn't too bad, it gave me a chance to think while sitting in a tree.
She never did find her spell book but managed to remember the words to
free me. She may be a bumbly witch but she has a good heart.
The problem now is I found out that Clarissa has a very evil sister named Wartencia (don't they all) who has kidnapped poor wee Fia and locked her in the haunted mansion.
Fia is a sweet and tender soul who has been looking forward to the party coming up on Saturday. We can only imagine what the evil witch used to lure her in. What can we do?
We started by making flyers and tacked them up all over the villages to alert everyone and gain support. Clarissa is too nervous to try any spells, especially against her powerful sister. Not that a group of villagers are any match for her but it's better to be aware we thought. Most who read the flyer as we went along crumpled it and ran to bolt their doors and windows.
Just after we put up all our flyers we heard a LOUD cackling ringing through the night sky. Since there is no breeze and no clouds the sky was pitch black save for the moon. We looked around but saw nothing or no one. Clarissa tapped me on the shoulder and pointed up.....there we saw an orange glow around the moon and Wartencia's evil face inside. "Do you fools think putting up pieces of paper will do you any good? Clarissa you are a disgrace with your fumbling ways and good nature, don't think you are safe just because we are sisters. That mousy girl is mine forever, you wait and see." With that her evil cackling began again as the words "give up" appeared in the night sky and she was gone.
Suddenly Clarissa smacked herself on the head......"WAIT! I know who we can turn to and I KNOW she will help us!"
Will we be able to save Fia AND take down the evil Wartencia once and for all?

Edited Thursday morning: go HERE for all the last minute details on the Pink Artist Project......I cannot believe it's that time!!! So much went in to this brain child of the lovely, wonderful and talented Monica - and now she's behind the scenes working on the drawing too. Go see how much money was donated for this very worthy cause then give her a round of applause!! Even though many donated squares for the doll and additional art work for more prizes (which was wonderful) this would not be happening without HER leading this orchestra!!
