It's overcast today.......it's 60 degrees right now....are we finally feeling FALL??
It had been so warm and unFall-like it didn't put me in the mood to decorate for the season BUT I decided I had better do some anyway before it's officially winter. I am so happy now the weather is turning.
My Yankee Candle wax tarts are scenting the house with Autumn Harvest in the living room and Macintosh Apple in the kitchen. I love the scent as you walk in the front door.
I am working on finishing up my Ofrenda/shrine/alter...(not sure what to call it) for Dia de Bloglandia on Sunday. It's been a very cathartic endeavor and will be hung on the wall in my hallway after Sunday. I can't wait to see what others create and do for this celebration. Be sure to check out Stephanie's and Susanna's blogs for the list of particiapants. I am so glad they decided to do this.
I have also been working on final finishing touches for the Red Art Project that G and I will be hand delivering to Terisa on Saturday.
In the mail today I received the other prize I won from the Pink Artist Drawing. Made by the lovely Mermaid Carmen.....I am wearing them both as we speak.

She included this bracelet "just because"! I am truly grateful!

I was going to do a big Halloween post tomorrow but I just don't have time and since I did a big deal for the Halloween party ...... I figured I'd let Daisy and Lucy bid you all Happy Halloween instead!
I am going to try and make a more concerted effort to be better at getting around to commenting on blogs. I used to be one who was very consistent but as you all know you can begin and 3 hours later you're still at the computer and not even done. I do read.....I do a bit early morning and a bit more a night, if that counts. I don't like to just leave a "that's great" comment so when I do comment it takes a while. Well I think you know precisely what I mean! So please know that receiving your comments is a great honor as I absolutely know it takes time to stop. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Love,
Lisa

P.S. I just found out that the always humorous and talented, Karin, was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I am sending out all my most intense healing and wellness thoughts to her. She injects humor in even the most chaotic situations so I am deeply hoping she keeps that with her as laughter can be the best medicine! I hope she doesn't mind that I said this here....but I think everyone can use that magical collective of bloggers who send out well wishes and prayers. I just know it works!
