It feels like I am hosting a Ball. You know as a hostess you want to be sure the guests know what day the party is..... is the food going to be ready? will the orchestra be on time? do the guests know where to park their carriages? Will the guests have a good time? Will there be a good turn out? Will I be able to converse with everyone? And so on.....
Those last minute jitters while setting things up that are usually all for naught as things are fine. The nervous host who makes sure the florist did the right arrangements...choosing table coverings......checking the lighting.....trying on her gown to be sure it fits right(for the 5th time)......playing with hairdos. Worrying she's talked about the Ball so much people are already sick of hearing about it before it even begins. (and she's sorry for that)
With One World-One Heart beginning on Monday I am here behind the scenes fielding emails and questions (which I don't mind in the slightest).....making sure I have answered clearly whatever the question......and worrying if everyone who will be participating know to WAIT until Monday. (Trying to begin early is like attending a Ball 3 days early....doors are locked, there is no one there.)
Making sure my giveaways are ready and photographed well.
In 3 days people will begin to arrive and I WILL be ready.......I WILL......
with a huge smile on my face!
