Hello creative bloggers worldwide..........some of you have inquired as to whether or not Our World Our Art has happened yet or when it will happen. I know I said earlier this year it would be sometime late this Fall BUT I have changed the date. With so many things going on behind the scenes - you know, life stuff, I have decided to start the first OWOA in late January/Early February of 2013.
For 5 years One World One Heart was held at that time of year and I think I want to continue with that time period with this new event as well. I apologize for the continuing date changes and hope you will continue to check back here in the coming months as I will announce the exact date it will begin before the end of the year. PLEASE NOTE, if you participated in any or all of the OWOH events in the past OWOA is different so it's important you read the information page that explains EVERYTHING!! And if you haven't heard of this new event be sure to click on the link as well to get all the details. This one, as in the past, is open to bloggers worldwide.
I have created a new badge from a photo I took of an iron hand I own and one of my paint brushes and of course the world map symbolizes this is a Worldwide event. Although there is a paint brush in the logo it is not intended to make anyone think you have to paint to participate...it's merely a symbol. That's why I can't stress enough that you do read the info so you aren't sitting there thinking "I don't paint or draw so I can't participate?" OF COURSE YOU CAN..... Artistic/creative passion comes in MANY forms.
Creativity, imagination, artistic passion.......what is yours? Think about it....do you sculpt, paint, illustrate, knit, crochet, make jewelry, take photos, collage, make dolls, quilt, art journal, make handbags, do paper mache, make shrines, work with glass, paper craft, sew aprons? The list is endless!! Not only will you be able to introduce yourself AND showcase your creative passion but you will be able to give away a piece of that work to a lucky visitor.....AND if you sell your work you can link to that too!!!
