I feel like a broken record but once again time gets away and before you know it a week goes by since my last post. Ah but it's for good reason........I have been creatively busy.

My newest project...............
Using
A 3-tiered metal "basket" +
2 sets of test tubes with caps (from EBay) +
wire +
paint (regular and glass) +
Strips of various print fabric +
wee metal bird cages +
3 wee silk doll blanks "dolled" up +
a hook in the ceiling =
THIS........................
I love it, it brings so much color and with the light from the window the colors on the tubes shine! I am sure I will hang more things from it and things inside the "baskets" over time. Bliss!

So I have all kinds of paint..........but I wanted to keep the fabric related paint all together. So 10" cakes pans from Michaels (2) + an old wood lazy susan cut down + metal tube attached with nuts + decoupaged fabric (I ended up painting over it) + BohoHandyman = a rotating caddy for the fabric paint............BUT........
Learning curve.......It needs another tier (or 2) and a heavier pan - galvanized metal would be great. There are ones you can buy ready-made out there but they are $$$$. So for now I will be using this for some of the fabric paint/supplies until BohoHandyman and I can find the materials for a new one. (This one will not go to waste)
(I had to take a photo in the kitchen because right now my studio is a ghastly mess!!)

I am working on something that will be completed during an ART PLAY DATE with a good friend of mine in a couple weeks.

So there you have it my friends - not to mention the baby quilt top is done and will be completed when the batting I ordered arrives. AND well you know there is more.........
