Well the big birthday came and went........and now I enter a new decade. It's hard to believe because seriously people..........I am about 12 mentally. OK maybe not 12 exactly but it sure isn't my age number that's for sure.
I know many are posting images on their blogs of Holiday decorations and baking delights - which is so lovely - but for me.......it's all about art. It is the heart of me, the soul of me and long past the holidays it will continue to still be there. So please forgive what may seem boring.......all I show is my art here lately.....but I AM an artist and it's what is important to ME.
And to be honest.....we are doing Christmas decorations different this year and I WILL show it in a later post. A more natural and neutral approach.
After the first of the year I am also going to set up a Shop page right here on my blog where I will be selling prints, cards and some other things.

BohoHandyman gave me an IPad Air for my birthday and I am having an amazing time with all the artist apps available. It's like taking all your art supplies in one device......anywhere, any time. Yes I use it for other things too but I am having so much fun trying all the apps. The ones I downloaded are: (If you have and IPad do check them out)

Coming is my new Sensu Stylus so I can draw and paint without using my fingers. I am hoping it arrives soon because I will be able to have more control.
And yes, besides the IPad I am still working in my art journal that is nearly full, I wanted to be done by years end so I can start a brand new one for 2014....we'll see: (I plan to do prints and cards with some of the images too)
Oh and one last thing to share........are you snoozing by now?
My IPad cover was a boring navy blue leather with a grey stripe so you KNOW I couldn't leave it like that. I painted the entire thing with black gesso and decoupaged a couple journal images on the over. I then sealed it with.......get this......clear nail top coat....you know the kind you used over polish? It worked great.
