I can't believe it's been so long between posts BUT:
I have nothing to say
Busy with the dog
things in life
not interesting to blog.
I am doing something Wednesday
I am excited to say
will reveal pics and the "what"
the very next day.
Think flying and wishes
and fairies and dust
think a dog as a Nanny
oops I've said too much.
If you're looking for art here
I'm afraid it's asleep
it better rouse soon though
and start earning its keep.
I'm frustrated and worried
and missing the muse
It tugs at my heart
that it continues to elude.
I'm counting on time
to set things to right
to throw open my studio
and seeing the light.

a bout of no muse

The support I could use.
My paints and supplies sit still on a shelf
the water in the brush cups is dry
the blank of the canvases and pencils not moved
literally makes me cry.
I'm trying to be patient
I'm trying to just roll
but the absence of art
is taking its toll.
I have imagination
I have thoughts and dreams
perhaps it's just a hiccup
and not as bad as it seems.
I'll float a little longer
I'll cross my fingers in hope
That the faeries bring it back to me
in a sweet creative boat.
