There is a wall in my living room that has been blank for a while now. Recently I decided what I wanted to do so I just started in.
I did 7 paintings (so far) on canvas panels (all face related)- a couple originated in my art journals that I printed parts of and reworked and added to, creating a whole new painting. Each of the panels, save for one, are hung using clip rings normally used for hanging curtain panels. They clip to the canvas panel quite well and the ring easily hangs on a nail. I am planning to do some smaller ones that will go above the current paintings thus nearly filling the entire wall. It's colorful and really adds a pop to the room.
(that is our antiquated wall heater and the items next to the chair are not usually there)
FYI: I took the photos after they were hung so they aren't perfectly square and the wall is opposite a large window across the room so I was having lighting issues. I know, excuses excuses.
So that's what has been keeping me focused of late. My studio looks like a BOMB went off in there. I also have a rolling cart in the living room with some supplies for working on details on some evenings while watching TV.
Here in the US it is 4th of July weekend.........have a Happy and Safe 4th! May Freedom ring!
p.s. the image above is from a journal page that I will be reworking in to a painting.
P.S.S. Thank you for stopping by, I may not post as often as I'd like so I am very happy you have chosen to stop in! Comments are always welcome! ♥
