It was my birthday yesterday.......... BohoHandyman made a lovely breakfast and gifted me with a new camera and beautiful cards.....to say I was astounded by that gift would be an understatement since he'd been putting $ aside for a couple of months without me knowing it. To say I sobbed would be an understatement as well because this was VERY unexpected. During the day we decided to finally put out a few Christmas things, we felt it was necessary we acknowledged the season and then he made me a beautiful dinner, had some wine AND a birthday cake/candles. He made it a very special day, just him and I.
I also received a parcel from my dear friends L and J with a letter from them that had me sobbing my eyes out yet again (yes, I'm a crier) and that I plan to frame. A lovely card from one of my Glitter Sisters and one from sister-in-law/brother-in-law. A phone call from my life long friend who lives in Canada.......a FaceTime (IPhone) with my nephew/his wife/my great nephew singing happy birthday to me from Texas. A call from one of my nieces singing happy birthday. A call from two other best girlfriends and MANY wishes on Facebook and email. With no family around and people with busy lives of their own right now it was so nice to connect in any way.

P.S. I have a heavy heart with many tears (as does this entire nation) for the victims and families of the tragedy in Connecticut. It is unimaginable.........please keep them in your hearts, your thoughts, your prayers.
