Remembering.........
My Mom is always in my heart
Today the candles are lit
on the shrine I made a couple of years ago
The shrine that after I completed it
she came to me in a dream
and told me she missed me.
The shrine that sits in my sidebar
Today two female statues sit on either side
of her shrine
Mary and St. Therese
(I am not religious BUT I do feel a strong female
spiritual presence from those two statues my Mom left me...they watch over everything)
I think of ALL those loved and lost....especially
My Dad
my Father-in-law Paul
and now my cousin Walter.
On this day, dia de los muertos
I am remembering....but then I will always remember.
