I wanted to share something I ordered recently that I am really happy with. It's not a big thing but it's a way to carry a piece of your art around with you all the time. At first I had a hard time deciding what to use but finally settled on the painting I did and sold called Namaste as it has a lot of color and well.....I like it.
The product is called Skinit. Some of you may already know about it but for those who don't it is a product where you can use your own design or that in their library to cover a cell phone, laptop cover, MP3 player or gaming devices.
I simply found my phone on the list they provide and uploaded my image resizing it on the template they give on line to be sure it lined up as I wanted it. It goes on the front and the back of the phone and the template is designed to have openings where needed so it does not interfere with the operation of the device.
Here is my phone before:(thisimage is from the internet as I didn't take a before photo)
This is how it looks after I added the Skinit skin to the front:(the yellow color is just what the phone was sitting on)
and here is how it looks on the back:
Please note that I have absolutely NO affiliation with this company whatsoever. As I said, I wanted to share this discovery.
I thought it was a fun product that for the price would be a great way to not only jazz up my phone but have it be my OWN art as the image. And if you aren't an artist they have a HUGE library of images, text and backgrounds to choose from.
After my laptop gets an internal revamp I plan to create a "skin" top for that too, I just don't know what the design will be yet. AND I'm going to do my IPod.
Why?
Why not?
Check out the website and play around - you may get hooked!
Again, I can't believe how much time goes by between posts, I feel like a lazy blogger but you know....sometimes that's how blogging goes when you're busy doing other things.
I hope to be back soon with patio pics!
In the meantime I hope you are enjoying your week so far!
Love,
Lisa
