Still nothing on Princess Periwinkle's fate or whereabouts........we are looking at a new (not new, it would be new to us) vehicle on Saturday as reality is setting in. We have to be practical and realistic. This ordeal has nearly broken our spirits so we need to get back to some assemblance of "normal" and not let the low-life who did this take EVERYTHING away. They will get theirs as Karma has a way of doing that but that's on karma and the Universe.......in the mean time we need to get our mojos back and try to move on. (although we both know we'll be looking out for her for a long time to come) You know what I mean? It's all we talk about or think about and it's a state of limbo that is not a good place to be in. We've heard all the horror stories of what could have been done to her by now leading us to come to grips that the longer time goes by the more unlikely she will be found completely intact. The thought of her suffering makes my stomach turn. I sat in a couple 4Runners on a lot last night and NONE felt right......will this one on Saturday? Will any of them feel right? Remains to be seen. It's like losing a pet and you decide to get another one but none you see have that same temperment, same feeling until one day you just know you've found one that makes your heart leap. You aren't replacing the one you lost but at least you have a new one to love.
This was our cat Jasper, who ran in to a dog and the dog won (sadly) He was a wild one that one BUT I was devastated when we lost him.
it took a bit but we eventually found Daisy in a shelter
she is the love my life (pet wise)...shhh, don't tell Lucy or Sadey.
so it CAN happen even though a vehicle isn't a living, breathing being that sits on your lap purring and licking your hand. I think you get what I mean. Life goes on.

In the meantime I have......painted a small dresser, 2 end tables, a hutch, the cabinet the TV sits on, my kitchen Island, and the 2 bar stools. I've gone through photos, printed and framed them on a small wall in the living room all framed in black. Furniture items, lamps, throw pillows.....all will come in time, as will photos of what I've been doing.
The outdoor studio/shed project is on hold......and my current studio is in a state of complete dissaray because it keeps going like this..." where do we put this for now?"....."just put it in the studio". So everything else will stop so I can get it back in working order enough to do some much needed art.......I am chomping to get paint to canvas again AND FINALLY get my Etsy shoppe going......TALK TALK TALK I need to do the WALK!

As for the OUR WORLD OUR ART newlstetter, I still plan to get the next one out the end of this month. I will actually be sending out 2.....the first one will go out again for those who missed it (if you already received it you may receive it again). I want to keep the word out so that in 4 months people are readying for it and you know how fast time goes by. I am really looking forward to this new event in 2012.
